About Lucknow

Lucknow was the abode of the Nawabs of Awadh, and their regal pastimes and pleasures were legendary. Many of the royal residences are now crumbling, but the best known of Lucknow's architectural representatives are the Imambaras, and the Bhulbhulaiyan.
