Rajiv Sabharwal becomes Executive Director, ICICI
Rajiv Sabharwal, an alumnus of IIM Lucknow from the Batch of 1990 has been appointed as Executive Director of ICICI Bank.
The bank has received the approval of Reserve Bank for appointment of Rajiv Sabharwal as Executive Director, ICICI Bank, it said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The appointment is with effect from June 24.
The board of ICICI Bank had approved the appointment of Sabharwal in April itself. The decision was taken after the resignation of ICICI Bank Executive Director Sonjoy Chatterjee. Mr.Sabharwal was previously heading the retail banking operations.
